The famous vocalist and guitarist Bono has constantly led the band along with other members like guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist The Edge, bass guitarist Adam Clayton and drummer and percussionist Larry Mullen, Jr. The debut album of the band titled ‘Boy’ happened in the year 1980. The band is more famous for performing live shows. Their 1987 album ‘The Joshua Tree’ made them superstars. The band has won 22 Grammy Awards which is a record per se.
