The American rock band was formed in the year 2001 and saw its origin in Jacksonville, Florida. The band was founded by vocalist Brent Smith, bassist Brad Stewart, guitarist Jason Todd and drummer Barry Kerch. Few changes in the line up of the band were observed over the years. Currently guitarist Zach Myers and bassist and pianist Eric Bass are playing along with Kerch and Smith. Shinedown has released four albums, two live albums and a total of 14 singles so far. The band has also been commercially very successful and has sold over six million albums worldwide. The debut album of the band was ‘Leave a Whisper’ which was released in the year 2003. Popular tracks like ‘Fly from the Inside’ and ‘Burning Bright’ were featured by the album. The band went on to release ‘Us and Them’ in 2005, ‘The Sound of Madness’ in 2008 and ‘Amaryllis’ in 2012 after the success of their debut album.
