The British indie rock band which is based in London saw its formation in the year 2005.

The band came up with several 7” singles through different independent record labels in their early years. Their debut single ‘Gravity’s Rainbow’ was released in2006 on Angular Records which saw only 500 copies. It was only after the success of their single ‘Magick’ which was released on 30th October the same year that the band was able to gain exceptional popularity. The single reached #29 on UK Top 40.

The band came up with another single titled ‘Golden Skans’ which also became a huge hit. The band’s latest album is ‘Surfing the Void’ which was released in the year 2010.

Their debut album ‘Myths of the Near Future’ was released in 2007 which instantly became very popular. The album also won Nationwide Mercury Prize in the year 2007. The band has so far won 10 awards which include NME, Best Art Vinyl and Ivor Novello Awards.
