The American metalcore band hails from North Hollywood, California and was formed in the year 2005. The group has so far released around three studio albums through Century Media Records.
Maria Brink is the lead vocalist of the band. She formed the band along with guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. The band recorded several demos when their line up was completed in mid-2005 and posted them on MySpace. The band soon generated a fan base with the help of their music. Rob Nicholson, the bassist for Ozzy Osbourne, became the band’s manager after finding out about their amazing music through MySpace.
The band was signed by Century Media Records under which the band released their first studio album titled ‘Beautiful Tragedy’ in 2007. The album’s success and popularity inspired the band to release ‘The Dream’ in 2008 which reached #73 on Billboard 200. Their latest release ‘A Star-Crossed Wasteland’ in 2010, peaked at #40 on Billboard and reached #4 on Top Hard Rock Albums list.
