The hardcore punk band hails from Watford, England and was formed in the year 2005 after guitarist Laurent Barnard’s previous band ‘My Dad Joe’ disbanded.

The debut album of Gallows was released in the year 2006 under the name ‘Orchestra of Wolves’ through ‘In at the Deep End Records’. The album became so famous that it came into the attention of Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion’s fame who released the album in US through Epitaph Records which included some new tracks as well. Brett named the album as one of his favorite albums of 2007 in an interview. The album went on to reach #57 on the UK Albums Chart.

Gallows next venture was a studio album named ‘Grey Britain’ which was released in the year 2008 through Warner Bros. and peaked at #20 on the UK Albums Chart. The band is also known for making unique music videos. Their latest work is an EP titled ‘Death Is Birth’ which was released in 2011.
