The single was followed by a three year experimentation after which David came up with an alter ego named Ziggy Stardust, who was very flamboyant and androgynous in nature, in the year 1972 with his hit single ‘Starman’.

David shot to commercial success with his hit single ‘Fame’ and the album ‘Young Americans’ in 1975. David has also appeared in various movies so far.
