The American metalcore band from Boston, Massachusetts was formed in the year 2001 which began as a side project of Hamartia that featured guitarist Brendan MacDonald and drummer Mark Castillo. Their debut album titled ‘You Had Me at Hello’ was released in 2002 after which promotions followed with various tours which helped them to earn a good fan base. The band went their separate ways after various successful tours.

The band reunited later and signed a deal with Victory Records in 2003 through which they came up with their second album titled ‘Cover Your Tracks’ in 2004. The band made it to the charts for the first time in the year 2006 with their third studio album titled ‘Beauty and the Breakdown’ which reached #129 on Billboard 200. In 2011 they signed with Mediaskare label and came up with their sixth studio album titled ‘Mosh n’ Roll’, which has done better business.
