The progressive groove metal band, Biomechanical, hails from London. The band was formed in the year 1999 by producer/singer and songwriter John K.

Biomechanical came up with their first demo titled ‘Distorted’ in the year 2001. It was only after their contract with Revolver Records that they were able to release their full length studio album titled ‘Eight Moons’ in the year 2002. The band got a great positive response for their debut album. The songs ‘The Awakening’ and ‘Save Me’ of the album are still loved by all.

They signed a contract with Earache Records after the success of their first album and came up with two more studio albums titled ‘The Empires of the Worlds’ and ‘Cannibalised’ in the year 2005 and 2008 respectively.

The band is also famous for following a main storyline which constantly runs through their tracks.
